I need a new style?

I’m almost 17. I’m sick of girls with frayed jean mini skirts, ugg boots, and Hollister hoodies. I’m also sick of booty shorts that show the lower half of your ‘booty’ and girls that wear tank tops with their bra straps showing. It’s tacky and ugly. I really don’t have much of a style (jeans and t shirts if you will), I really like baby doll tops, but how do you dress them up? I want a new sophisticated style, but for a teenager. I don’t want to wear suits and high heels. I’m down to earth, my favorite color is green, I love lacey things. I’m also a bit curvy, I don’t have an extra ‘baggage’, I just have wider hips. I’m a size 5 in pants. What I’m asking for is some suggestions? For a hip/sophsticated, kind of funky style. Might be a lot to ask for.. but thanks. XD
Oh no I’m all for cheap! I wont buy anything unless its under 13 dollars or on sale haha

We have the same taste!! I love baby-dolls – flattering on any figure, feminine and the lace is a nice touch, isn’t it?
IF you can’t find lace on something, buy some and sew it on! I do… or – I make ‘lace’ hairbands, ties, ponytail holders and tie up my hair…
A simple gold chain will dress up your baby-doll, I personally don’t like chokers or anything ‘big’ in jewellery..I prefer dainty.

And shoes? A great Stylish flat – so many nowadays!! They have some really pretty ones, at Payless too! Or bargain-hunt. The lace-ups are cool and for any age
.
Look in magazines – Look for a girl with Your bodytype, colouring, size – and see what she’s wearing – you might find something trendy! I’ve found a lot like this – and people compliment me! – I start my own styles, although not strange ones, just cute – If you know what I mean. :-)
